Is it possible to get from Santiago de Cuba to Jamaica by boat?
I'm planning a road trip that me and my friends will be going on in a few years. We plan to see all of North America but we also want to spend at least 3-4 weeks in Jamaica, because we consider that like a dream vacation spot. Anyway, we're going to be traveling in a camper van (hopefully a volkswagen type 2 T1) and we don't want to abandon it to get to Jamaica, so is there a ferry/boat that would transport our car from Cuba to Jamaica? How much would this cost? Also, if it's not possible, can you please give me a ferry path that would take our car from a point in North/Central America to Jamaica?

Complimenting names for two dogs?
Well there is a possibility that we may be getting two adult dogs that have grown up together. We need two dog names, not necessarily matching, to name them. Do you have any more suggestions?here is my list so far:
BOYS
-Toro/Toru
-Dante
-Joaquin
-Santiago
-Javier
-Manuel
-Jamilah
-Shaka
-Xanti
GIRLS
-Tequila
-Manuela
-Lareina
-Catalina
-Zahra/Azahria
-Dalia
-Jamelia
-Hero
I have thought of that, however these dogs are 2 1/2 and the dog we had before we adopted when he was 3 and a stray, and we renamed him from his shelter name and he had no problems. :)
Obviously if these dogs do have problems adapting to their new names we will call them by their old ones.

The name of a spanish holiday song? PLEASE HELP!!!?
Last year we went to teneriffe (we stayed in the barcelo santiago hotel) and they were always playing this catchy, dance song by the pool and I would really like to find out what it's called. The hotel staff taught this dance to it and always played it at the end of aqua aerobics. We went to gran caneria this year aswell and saw this song playing on the music chanel in a bar although unfortunately it never told who it was by or what the song title is.
This is probably no help at all because there are probably loads of spanish songs like this but this is the best way I can describe it:
It's very upbeat, the verses are spoken, it's sung by a young women with long dark hair, there's a section in the song which says 'Woah' three times.
Any sugguestions as to what it could be?

IS BUENOS AIRES RIO, OR SANTIGAO CHILE SAFE, CHEAP, & WORTH GOING TO FOR VACATION? WHICH IS CHEAPER & BETTER?
IS BUENOS AIRES RIO, OR SANTIGAO CHILE SAFE, CHEAP, & WORTH GOING TO FOR VACATION? WHICH IS CHEAPER & BETTER?Ok now I made up my mind and choose to go to 2 instead of just going to all 3 but Rio is 1. I'm trying to decide either Santiago or Buenos Aries as my 2nd. Which is better and safer overall? Is it dangerous there for BLACK American men? Do the women there like BLACK American men? I was wondering which one is cheaper overall and better to visit. Is it dangerous there for BLACK American men? Do the women there like BLACK American men? I've heard that Argentinians are racist against Black Americans and they don't like the Black soccer players. I heard Santiago has a lot of smog and small earthquakes 200 days a year. Is this true?
What is the weather like in September? Does it rain a lot? Is it hurricane season in September? I heard there was a flood in Brazil and wonder is it ok to visit in September. What is all to do there in these 3 cities? Is it cheap there in all 3 places? Which is the cheapest Someone told me all 3 cities are cheap like Thailand. Do they have a nice zoo and aquarium? Are the people hospitable towards Americans? Where do they speak English more?
I'm not a trouble maker nor I don't drink smoke, and not a party person but if something was to happen to me to where I went to jail will the US help me and be notified or is it like Mexico and Japan where the US can't do anything about it?
Certain countries have laws with the US where we are protected and the US can do something for us to get out of jail if an American was to get into trouble but I forget the name of this act. Also, someone just told me about they have a really bad flu virus breakout in Buenos Aires right now. Someone who is from there or who have experience please tell me which city is the best and cheapest out the 3 and should I visit and that's worth my money to travel too. Thanks
I was also told I have to pay about a $100 fee once I land in Santiago. Is this true? if so, does this apply to Rio and Buenos Aires as well?

Please may someone correct my translation?
Here is the English version: Other than Benjamin, Granpa Santiago is also a very significant man in Alina's life. Although her father tends to impede on her freedom, her Grandpa understands that one cannot over protect a child, especially when she is growing. In the last days of the Grandpa's life, Alina stays up the whole night to console her Grandpa who worries about his death. She sacrifices her sleep to spend time with her Grandpa, and based on this one can conclude that they love each other a lot. The Grandpa's death can be a milestone in her life. Grandpa Santiago is the only person that fights for Alina's independence after his death, Alina doesn't have anyone to defend her freedom, so it is necessary for her to protect herself.
THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH!!!

Should Mexico be spending their time & money on their own problems insteading filing lawsuits here?
MONTERREY, Mexico—A surge of drug violence in Mexico's business capital and richest city has prompted an outcry from business leaders who on Wednesday took out full-page ads asking President Felipe Calderón to send in more soldiers to stem the violence. The growing violence in Monterrey, long one of Mexico's most modern and safe cities, is a sign that the country's war against drug gangs is spreading ever further from poorer battlegrounds along the border and into the country's wealthiest enclaves.Residents opened their newspapers Wednesday morning to find the ads taken out by Mexican business leaders, begging the government to send more military into the city. "Enough already," said the notice that ran in national and local papers, criticizing what it said was a slow response of police against "criminal bands that in every act look to establish a new boundary of terror."
Later that day, the body of Edelmiro Cavazos, mayor of the Monterrey suburb of Santiago, was found beside a highway. Mr. Cavazos had been abducted Sunday night, the latest in a string of attacks against politicians in Mexico's north.
His killing is another incident in a terrifying spell for Monterrey residents that began Saturday when armed gangs set up more than a dozen roadblocks on key boulevards of the city, paralyzing traffic for hours. The next day, a grenade was lobbed at the offices of an important television broadcaster. On Tuesday night, grenades were also hurled at several small businesses on the city's outskirts.
"The security environment in Monterrey has turned, in just a few months, from seeming benevolence to extreme violence," U.S. Ambassador to Mexico Carlos Pascual said at a recent conference on drug trafficking in El Paso, Texas.
Monterrey is only the latest sign of mounting problems in Mexico's war on organized crime. The official toll since President Calderón took power in December 2006 is more than 28,000, according to government figures through July. Mr. Calderón recently acknowledged the government's inability to check the violence with brute force alone and has invited lawmakers to debate measures such as legalizing drugs.
The brutality of the conflict is escalating. Alleged gang hit men broke into the home of a Chihuahua state policeman this week and strangled to death his 4-year-old brother, authorities said. Across the country, mutilated and decapitated bodies turn up virtually every day, sometimes hanging from bridges.
It wasn't always this way in Monterrey. Mexicans know the city of 2 million as "The Sultan of the North," a nickname stemming from its wealth, generated by corporations such as Mexico's beverage titan Femsa S.A.B. de C.V. and U.S. businesses such as Whirlpool Corp. and General Electric Co., which have large offices in Monterrey. International architects built the city's skyline, which is framed by dramatic mountains.
"We're defenseless here. Who do we call for help?" said a local hotel owner who used to own the Holiday Inn stormed by masked gunmen in April, asking that his name not be used.

When answering a question (essay style) in Spanish, what tense is the most formal to use?
I had to do a reding on "Las Ataduras" and now I have to answer some reading comprehension questions. What tense is most correct to use? Here is what I wrote:

La muerte de su abuelo puede ser un hito en la vida de Alina porque después de la muerte, Alina no tiene alguien para defender su libertad.

What Players have ultimately failed?
What players in your opinion have ultimately failed as a professional soccer player? In my opinion, my list would be filled with players like..
Santiago Fernandez- What happend to this guy, after the U-23 Olympic Qualifying he disappeared, never to play again. Wonder where he is now-a-days?
Omar Bravo- After his desire to go to Europe, he basically got screwed over because he was playing well with Chivas and he let all that excitement get to his head and he "thought" he could possibly go to Europe. He was wrong, Omar your better off playing with Chivas. You play way better with them then any other team like Deportivo La Coruna or, Tigres and with the Wizards and have no idea how you'll do.
Edgar Castillo- After he left Santos, that kid was never the same. Although he's still one of my idol's he'll never be that same Edgar Castillo we saw in Santos. Besides he went to America and everything that goes to America se hecha a perde Lol Jk.
Fernande Ortiz- Once again after he left Santos he freaking sucked with them and did even worse with Tigres. Also his recent injuries have not helped
Cesar Delgado- This guy, Vicente Sanchez and, Omar Bravo all had the same problem. They thought they were "good", they let it go straight to their head and bam. They left and ultimately sucked. Now look at Vicente Sanchez, he has the right idea by coming back to Mexico where he actually plays "good". Hopefully Chelito will the get the idea sooner or later.
Kikin Fonseca- I have no idea how Tigres lets him keep being a starter, to me he's really not a very good player at all. Maybe in 06 he was but that's it.
Sergio Amaury Ponce- Should have stayed with Toluca
David Toledo-Once he got with Tigres
Ulises Mendivil- Now that he is with Atlante. Might just need more time
Paco Torres- Once he came with Santos, although he is regaining his skill
Every extranjero besides Cheltio and Villa that goes to Cruz Azul.
Your opinion?
All veryyy true.
Luis Angel Landin
Carlos Ochoa
Cesar Villaluz
